Random question for ya...

What are your thoughts on the Buchanan County Sheriff's race? Does anyone even care about local elections like this? I have a close family friend in the race and it has made me curious as to the dynamics of a race that I typically wouldn't care much at all about.

Thoughts?

For example: Do most people vote based on what you know about the person or do you follow party lines? It seems like voting along party lines in local elections like this would just be ridiculous but again, I pay almost zero attention to local elections like this so I may be way off base on that idea.

Ha, I doubt a county sheriff's election will get to be too political charged of a topic.. but if it does I'll just nuke it.
