Ameristar or Harrah's
A buddy of mine is going to KC for the Ravens game. He's been a long time lurker here and finally signed up but he still can't start threads (lol, noob) so I told him I'd start this for him. He's in his early 40's and is bringing his GF. Any thoughts on the positives and negatives of each place? Any suggestions on which place is better to stay at? TIA.

Personally, I like Ameristar over Harrah's. Better games, better food selections, movie theaters in the building, and the rooms are nice. Plus, I get my dick kicked in when I play at Harrah's (and Argosy for that matter), but to be fair there are a few people that post here that make a killing at Harrah's properties.

If they’re wanting to go downtown or anything harrahs is a little closer
I think harrahs is a little better set up and ameristar was always a little scattered or something |

7th Street is where it's at, bro. Haven't you heard the commercials?

I believe 7th Street is just a slot casino, maybe a sports bar to boot. No hotel, no table games (I think), and nothing around it except for downtown Wyandotte County. Hard pass. |

El camino real a couple doors down has excellent al pastor, especially if you can talk them into grilling the pineapple with the meat on the flat top. Holy shit it's good
