Fantasy Football Talk- 2017
Let's make a thread to shit talk and talk in general about this fantasy football season.
I myself have a hard time locating some good research materials and for one, don't want to spend a shit ton of time on it. By making this thread, I am actually spending more time on this fantasy football season than I usually do. I have printed off some depth charts for WR and RB, which I think will help with the live draft and choosing players in mid to late rounds. Anything else you guys keep handy for the live draft? Post your teams and leagues here after drafting. Good luck!!! |

In all actuality, I get some good info from the CBS Sports guys. If you have the app it's an easy find out you can just look them up. I haven't nerded out as much with mock drafts and research as I normally do because of my recent schedule but I am starting to.

I havent liked CBS stuff as much since Nathan Zegura (sp?) left. He was all about facts instead of opinions. Took a job with the Browns a couple years ago.

Rotoworld Draft Guide. It's $19.99 but you can input your scoring into their website and it will give you cheat sheats and write ups based off of your scoring. I use it every year.

I've done mock drafts every single day since early June, what do you want to know?

I'm in a PPR league so I mock accordingly. My last draft with the #4 overall pick went like this
Julio Jones Tom Brady TY Hilton Keenan Allen Julian Edelman Mark Ingram Tevin Coleman Martellus Bennett Derrick Henry Eli Manning Randall Cobb Then I autopicked the last 4 rounds. But as you can see, I value WR's. I get my sure thing WRs then draft RB's who are elite handcuffs or have huge upside and I expect to hit on them. I did this last year and took Demarco Murray as my RB1 in the 6th round. He turned out to be a steal. Also did it 2 years ago, where I didn't take a RB until rounds 8 and 9 and I won the championship. Last year I lost in the championship game, but finished with a 12-2 record. |

Where do you draft Tyreek Hill? I feel like he will be unbelievable this year. Probably the only Chief I draft, if I can get him as a steal...

I don't draft him. My league is about half homer Chiefs fans and he'll be picked in the late 2nd round. I'm just not going to reach for him at that spot. 4th round, yeah I'd love that, but not 2nd. I'd take him if I had a late 3rd as my WR3.

Don't get overly excited because TH is no longer a secret and STs Coords and DCs will really game plan well for him and will have moderate success 'because' we have no other big time WR to take the pressure off and another big factor is that AS is QB. Now, once PM is passed the torch and another WR steps up as a legit threat that is when TH will be even more lethal than ever. Hill in most drafts will be drafted to high anywhere from the 2-4th rds. To me TH is realistically for this year is a 6th-8th rd pick.
