That's a big loss for humanity. I really enjoyed his humor.

I was about to comment that he seemed old when I first saw The Bob Newhart Show as a kid. But the numbers work out. He would have been in his forties when I was a 12 year-old kid, and when I was 12 a guy in his forties was old.
