Chiefs Free Agent Mike Danna
Don't know how accurate sportrac is with their "market value" guesstimations but I personally hope the Chiefs can retain Danna. Do you (the CP brain trust) think he is an important piece to retaining some of our D consistency (especially with Omenihu going to miss half the season) or do you think FAU/BJ Thompson can step in without a drop off in production? Or will the Chiefs find a DE gem to step in and wreck from that side of the ball?
FAU and BJ Thompson really didn't see much action last year so hard to gauge their readiness. Quote:

Pretty sure he will be too expensive to retain, as whoever you are quoting suggests.

Drafting FAU that high pretty much sealed his fate anyway

And some were questioning if George would get a $100 mil contract
Old friend Ogbah got released… he’s 30 now, and should be relatively cheap |

I'll be surprised if Danna gets a three-year, $50 million deal. Kudos to him if he does. I don't think he is WORTH that much.. so if that is the type of deals we are competing with, he is gone.
Otherwise, would love to get the band back together for another year or two. |

I think it’s much more likely 3/27-30 and I don’t think I’d want to pay that, even if I really do like the player. |

Not out of the realm of possibility. Similar careers, and Ogbah signed for a 4 year 65 mil contract 2 years ago
