Will Andy Reid ever become HC with most wins
I know this has been talked about but its still the off-season and it looks like Bill won't be coming back to football(at least Reid will gain a year/wins on him this season).
1) Shula with 347 2) Bill with 333 3) Halas with 324 4) Andy Reid with 284 I believe if Reid can stay healthy for another 5 seasons he will top Shula with 348 total wins! Reid will be 70 years old and might be the perfect time to hang his clipboard up! Example: 64 wins needed 2024- Lets say we win 12 regular season and lets go ahead and say 3 playoff wins and 3 SBs in a row! Giving Reid 15 total more wins. 2025- 13 total wins 2026- would only need 12 total wins 2027- would only need 12 total wins 2028- would only need 12 total wins. Passing Shula and getting 348 total wins should be very doable for Reid!!! Side note----Reid only needs 6 more playoff wins to pass Bill and become the all-time most wins playoffs HC!!! |

I think when he gets to about 325 in the next 3 years or so, it's gonna be awfully tempting to stick around and finish the job.
I'd give it coinflip odds, honestly. If Mahomes (and Reid) stay healthy, I think he'll stick around and get it done. Because I genuinely don't believe there's anything else he'd rather do. But he's one health scare away from having to walk away. It's by no means out of reach for him. |

I think it's unrealistic to expect to stay at that level for 5 more years in a row. It'll be whether he wants to keep coaching 6 or 7 more years to chase it. I don't think he will.

It would take a pretty big decrease in the success of this team for the scenario in the OP to happen. OPs scenario is very conservative. |

For some reason when they do this stat they only count regular season wins. Are those stats showing regular season or combined?

Get Andy on ozempic. He loses weight, gets healthy and coaches into his 70’s without a health scare.

All-Time Regular season wins: 1) Shula: 328 2) Halas: 318 3) Bill: 302 4) Reid: 258 So instead of 64 TOTAL wins to take top spot he would need to get 71 regular season wins! So instead of 5 season it would probably take 6......UNLESS he goes for 17 wins this season! Then it could still happen in 5 haha |

Health permitting, I think Andy coaches into his early 70’s easily… another five years at least.
He has the perfect set-up now… Mahomes, a stable coaching staff, ownership and GM who give him every resource possible… I think he squeezes every last drop of that perfect situation. |

As far as Reid's health is concerned, he looks like he's doing fine for a guy his size. Usually at that age and weight, the decline is heavy, but Big Red is looking good.
The age factor is my concern. Anything could pop out of nowhere and hit him, for no other reason than Father Time finally breaking his body down enough. |

I think football is Reid's life. I think they will have to drag him away. Especially with Mahomes at his finger tips for the next five plus years. Health scare is the only thing that stops him…. Possibly if he starts losing but that isn’t happening with Mahomes and this roster. I think he gets to 369.

Yes, 5 more seasons average 12 wins a season (which seems low with Mahomes) and he gets to 344.
The question is, is Belichump going to come back and coach on another team? |

Ooooh great question!
It's going to be tough for him to get there I think. I see him sticking around for another 3 years, but not sure about more. |
