Why TJ Tampa? At first glance I'm curious why you included him and not several other CBs in that range? I've not looked at any DBs tape at all this year so genuinely asking.

Because like Brooks at RB, it's not a position that I see the Chiefs taking early barring a particular player falling into their lap and being too good to pass up.

My list would differ a bit... would add
Malachi Corley, WR, Western Kentucky Caelen Carson, CB, Wake Forest I think at least one of these 3 will drop, and hell maybe all of them will be there: Cedric Gray, LB, North Carolina Edgerrin Cooper, LB, Texas A&M Junior Colson, LB, Michigan Probably would not have Burton or Fiske on it in the 2nd. I haven't yet reached my conclusion on Javon Foster because I think if you improve his footwork he might have the athleticism to play LT. That's my major hangup from saying yeah, throw him in there in the 2nd or nah, put him as a 3rd round OG convert. |

Depends on how you view it and what happens in FA. It reads like we're not re-signing Gay and we'll see if we get Tranquill back. If not either, then what? Also, Bolton is a FA in 2025, and if he ends up deserving a bag then I think I'm letting him walk. I'm keeping my mind open on it, at least for now.

Roman Wilson or Pearsall in the 2nd is a bit early but that's probably where the Chiefs would have to take them

Roman Wilson is my 2nd round pick if they go DT or OT in the first.

Yeah, an ideal draft for me is one of the OT's falling to 32 and Wilson in the 2nd, with a LB/DT in the 3rd.

Yeah - I might as well just own it now. Jalen McMillan is going to be my 2024 version of Rashee Rice.
"I don't even care who we take in the 1st at this point - I just really want McMillan in the 2nd..." I friggen love this kid as a complement to Rice. Those two as a matched set going forward would be spectacular here. And there are some very similar guys to McMillan that are also possibilities (Wilson and Pearsall being the two that I think of off the top of my head) but McMillan is my favorite of them. Can we please get McMillan in the 2nd and McCaffrey in the 5th? Is that asking too much? |
