Pail
1994 I moved to Texas and one of the first times I went out to catch some live music, t ran in to this band at Fat Jack’s Oyster Bar. The young men were kicking it with a mix of covers and originals, and the idiot crowd was basically ignoring them. I had just moved from KC and I couldn’t believe the lack of response. So when they finished the first set, I bellowed “PAIL SUCKS!”, and the lead singer immediately came up and introduced himself. I’ve had the honor of being friends with these guys for 30 years.
They should have been famous IMHO, but didn’t like the way the music labels were working around 2000. The song they wrote at the label workshop is performed at about the 47 minute mark. Nzoner and FDE got to hear them years ago, but I wanted to share the 15 year reunion show they had last month. https://youtu.be/T23uAQ_xo6w?si=l0liJeryLqa6RrcE |

Pail Sucks!
Seems like a good bunch. I listened late last night till about halfway through. I started nodding off and will finish it later. Tonight is Shogun Epi 5 night. First time playing together in 15 years, tip of the hat to Pail. |
