Return on investment for Rodgers is...
$18,512,500 per play. Holy hell this man ruins everything he touches
it's either that or he is Robin Hood and going to hand out all his rapings from the NFL after his career is over. |

I dislike Aaron Rodgers, but even I feel really bad for him and feel terrible for Jets fans. This is absolutely devastating for a lot of people who haven’t had a great deal of sports success.

It's shocking, that's for sure. The guy won back to back MVP's very recently. He moves to a new team with a ton of excitement. The whole thing implodes with an injury on his first drive of the season. Career probably over. Snap of the fingers and it's gone.

I would go so far as to say it might be the most rollercoaster-ish devastating injury any fan base has ever experienced given the circumstances. Terrible if you love football too as the Jets were going to be a lot of fun to watch.

I am sad about it today and I’m not a Jets fan. Can’t imagine what it’s like for the true die hards

Because, honestly, Rodgers is kinda just an unlikable asshole who happens to be an NFL quarterback, and because he has a shit personality I didn't really feel bad for Jets fans at all, but old number 61 gave me a different perspective. |

And I'm not sure I feel bad for the fans either. J-E-T-S JETS! JETS! JETS! It's rather annoying. |

Maybe Woody will reconsider putting natural grass in that stadium now. Would have been a lot cheaper.

It will be interesting if Rodgers indeed has torn his Achillies.
For one thing, Zach Wilson now has a massive opportunity when it looked like he was dead in NYC---and probably no future as an NFL starter. Can he take advantage of it? If Zach Wilson does what most expect and he craps the bed, do you now try to pick up Trey Lance from the Cowboys before the trading deadline? |
