What's the most money you've ever won in a casino?
Went out to a local casino tonight with $140 in my pocket. Walked out with $1280. Won most of it playing a dollar slot machine. Most I have ever won on a slot machine is $1800, but I prefer playing table games most of the time.
Curious if people of the planet have any interesting casino stories. |

Only one I ever went to was some depressing run down place somewhere outside of Tulsa. Good friend of mine got a job right after college in Tulsa and a group of guys made a weekend trip to visit him. After last call of course a casino sounded like a good idea (?) and we had no clue where to go, so the cabbie took us to one, and it was like they smushed together a couple trailers all together, and the sorriest bunch of people you ever saw. I don't think they even had table games? We stayed for all of about 5 minutes.
I had no clue that Oklahoma had 18+ casinos- I always assumed it was 21+ everywhere ? |

If you are ever in Tulsa and gamble at the Hard Rock, meander a few minutes to Catoosa and see the famous "Blue Whale of Catoosa". It's a national landmark. I'm not even mocking, I don't think. Last edited by BWillie; 02-24-2020 at 09:24 AM.. |

I won almost half a million this past week. It's easier when you're on the other side of the operation.

A $10 roulette bet on 19. I hit it, but lost $200 of the winnings straight out of my pocket or by drunkenly tipping out every other spin.

Rarely go to casinos so I'm probably on the losing side a few bucks. I did win $400 at the Woodlands Dog Track back in the day. I think those winnings put me on the positive side of my gambling there.

For about a couple months (when poker was the shit) me and a friend went to the poker room at Harrahs for 8 weekends straight, won over a total of $4k...so roughly $500 a night for a couple months....it was pretty easy to be honest...don't know why I still don't do that actually..

We got him back with a whole floor of rooms to himself.
I'm sorry you missed your plane. Glad to get to know you. Oh, no. No gambling. And once he was back, he played small. He bet 1,000 a hand, instead of his usual 30,000 a hand. ...to the bank with a natural lead over a five. But I knew the trick with whales like Ichikawa... was that they can't bet small for long. He didn't think of it as winning 10,000... he thought of it as losing 90,000. So, he upped his bets. Until he dropped his winnings back and gave up a million of his own cash. In the casino, the cardinal rule is to keep them playing... and keep them coming back. The longer they play, the more they lose. In the end, we get it all. |
