We would do that as well, but Smith only checks down anyway

This was an interesting piece. If the coach can do a lot of the work pre-snap, that makes a world of difference for young QB's, which is probably a big reason why Goff looks so good.
I hope Andy does this shit. Have Nagy sit in the box and look at the sky view so he can help Pat pre-snap. |

More than anything I hope they add some pieces to the offense to help Mahomes.
- Add a veteran receiver to complement our young guys. Adding Alshon Jeffrey helped Wentz in Philly. - OL has to improve, one way or another. - Add a reliable #2 TE to add depth and a target for two TE sets. - Hope Ware comes back to add a good 1-2 punch at RB. If not add a good running back to complement Hunt. |

I've wondered why more teams don't do this? |

If Denver were doing this, you'd be screaming 'cheaters'. I like it though, push the limits. Wonder if the competition committee will review in the offseason.

Very clever. This guy is a lock for coach of the year. And as a rookie no less.

It's definitely gaming the system - I can't imagine this is what they had in mind when designing the system. Wouldn't at all be surprised to see it changed in the next couple seasons.

I don't know it doesn't seem shady to me really. Just seems like they make more efficient use.
