Home Opener Trip - recommendation please

Okay, we’re booked! Got our game tickets, arrowhead stadium tour & just booked a sweet apartment on AirBnB in the Pickwick Plaza building. It’s been 10 year’s since I’ve been in KC. What are must-do/sees (preferably Chiefs related)? Traveling with my husband, dad & 6 year old son. We have plenty of art museums, shopping, fancy restaurants here in California - not looking for that - looking for fun local places.

Kind of limits your options with a 6 yr old, especially if you're looking for something unique. The College Basketball Experience has a lot of interactive stuff kids would like, but 6 might be a little young.

He’s a good traveler! Obviously we won’t be bar hopping late night with him in tow but he’s good for a day of exploring. Do they do any Chiefs events for Home Opener weekend, Red Friday, etc.

they used to put on a hell of a shindig..but not anymore... I think their big event last year was at a Community America Bank with KC Wolf & some cheerleaders.

Keep an eye on their website, just in case.

Science City & Union Station would be cool for your son. US was completed in 1914.
