well that backfired on me due to the device amazon and google have. I tried the Amazon Echo and didn't like it at all. Returned it to get the Google home and love it. Of course, I like the Amazon music service better than Google Play Music but can't use it on Google home. My main issue with Google play is that they fire off too damn many commercials on their free service. Looks like I may have to turn to Spotify. The only thing I don't care for on Amazon Music is the inability to have it block songs with explicit lyrics. They are pretty much the only service that has no option for this.
Regarding my initial question, the mrs and I determined we don't use the music services enough to warrant the montly fee. We are sticking to whats free and the music that comes with Amazon Prime membership. Its just too bad the Echo sucked. Last edited by 007; 08-01-2017 at 01:45 AM.. |

I could have sworn I read that it did. Haven't really tested it because the genre I listen to generally doesn't have an issue with crap lyrics. So basically its deal with an ad every two songs on google or give Pandora a shot. Its too bad none of them use apple music. They are listed as having the best explicit filter.

Home has been a better experience. Especially with the fact you can almost have a conversation with it without having to remind it what you were asking about previously. |

I am in month four of a 6 month free trial with TIDAL its been fine and will seriously consider paying for it. This was offered on slickdeals when it launched.

I know I could do that but I really don't want to set up a playlist of thousands of songs when I would like to be surprised with old songs I had completely forgotten about. Kind of defeats the purpose.

Just checked and that 6 month option is still available but only to sprint customers. Looks like Tidal doesn't have the explicit filter at all though. With it being a Jayzee thing, I'm not surprised.

Its sad because I do like their service quite a bit but just can't trust it to not throw in explicit music from time to time. And when it does, you can't miss it. |
