I know the feeling about gyro kits, scumbag Hy-Vee bought my best grocery store and promptly got rid of my favorite gyro kit... among many, many other needful things

I had some Original Recipe from KFC tonight and it was hot and fresh, delicious. It was actually pretty damn crispy as well.

Did my Puerco Pibil torta style

Also did a Mexican street corn pasta salad with Tajín, lime, diced jalepenos, corn, cilantro, chotija cheese, mayo and sour cream

Torta got a bottom bun base of refried beans, topped with pork then radish, pickled red onion and guac on Bolillo rolls
