Absolutely. He supposed to never take a woman and he took the queen. Plus he’s a shit hand with terrible ideas. What better than a brother to make sure he does a noble death in battle. Even if the wound is in the back.


Secondly Alicent is fine as hell. The Targaryen’s in this series are really meh compared to danerys.
