Pretty much all the sports suck. Some are interesting for 20 minutes only because we're only exposed to them once every 4 years.
As much as someone might like to ski, seeing someone go down the hill, one at a time, just isn't that fun. Make it a real race and have them go down at the same time and you might have something.
