Saul is convinced Lalo is alive in S2 of Breaking Bad, though. Convinced enough that he thinks Lalo sent Walt and Jesse to ice him. Indicating if Lalo died, it happened without Jimmy knowing (or, alternatively, Lalo gets iced between S2 and S4 of the BB timeline). Lalo dying without Jimmy knowing would be the easiest for the writers to convincingly pull off I think.
BCS’ subreddit is full scale BB era conspiracy now. One is that Lalo someone survives both BCS and BB, but I don’t see how he’ll manage to escape Gus’ watchful eye. Gus isn’t one for oversights one that capacity.
