Minnesota Vikings draft:

1.18- Jonah Williams, OT, Alabama
2.50- Deionte Thompson, S, Alabama
3.82- Elgton Jenkins, C, Mississippi State
4.121- Renell Wren, DT, Houston
6.192- Rodney Anderson, RB, Oklahoma
6.211- Drew Sample, TE, Washington
7.249- Keesean Johnson, WR, Fresno State
7.252- Stephen Denmark, CB, Valdosta State

Meh. The Vikings just needed a bunch of OL, so that's what I gave them. They're supposedly set at their starters at OT, but it's not like those guys weren't part of the problem, either. Reiff played some guard in college, and that's just probably how they'll have to fix their interior spots. I think Jonah Williams was among the better picks they could have gotten in the first round, and their biggest hole on the OL is starting center. Jenkins will fill that admirably from day 1.

Everything else... bleh. Whatever. It's kind of disappointing, but then again, so are the Vikings. I don't feel like I wronged anybody too important with this draft. Some neat little boom-or-bust (most likely bust) kind of players towards the back end of this draft, though. I also think Drew Sample has a place in the NFL, even as a career TE2 for some team.
