The KC Royals need some type of spark to ignite them back into reality. As of right now, the Royals sit in dead last in batting average and in runs scored in the MLB. The offense is dead; Billy Butler is the key to their awakening.

I've also seen scattered "endorsements" from fans on Twitter and FB. Not many, but enough that it surprises me.

The Royals should just bring back Billy Butler. I at least liked him. He can't hit any worse than the current option.

I can't find the facebook post on the Royals fanpage that inspired me to post this, but I'll keep looking for it. I can't even imagine Billy returning to the Royals after Mike Sweeney publicly trashed him after the great Valencia/Billy fight of 2016. Can't imagine what the conversation in an elevator would be like between them, especially since Sweeney said his sentiments were shared by the entire FO.
