I railed against that at the time. Wiggins seemed like a WAY better fit than Love alongside LeBron but LeGM got in his own way again. And frankly it seemed like he wanted to find an easy button for a quick title.

And to his credit, it kinda worked. But I think he left some meat on those bones. James/Kyrie/Wiggins could've been a damn difficult trio had Wiggins been allowed to develop into a 3 and D wing that his talent said he should've been rather than the volume player he became in Minnesota.

And he'd have been in a perfect spot for that to happen alongside those 2. If his last 4 years in GS are the first 4 years of his career, that's a championship team. And GS is using him how Cleveland easily could've. In so doing, his development arc would've been completely different as well. Wiggins effectively wasted the first 5 years of his career being asked to be a lead dog in Minnesota when what he should've been was a premier 2nd/3rd option.
