If it’s a driveshaft, typically You can grab it and shake it and feel the slack in the u-joints. If its that, get it fixed right ****ing now. A driveline coming apart and ripping everything under there clear to hell is catastrophic.

I presume it is in 2wd? We had a 99 that had a bunch of trouble with the transfer case.

Check and make sure there isn’t a chunk of mud in the tires first. Even if you just splashed through a puddle it can be enough to **** up your ride.
