Why does anyone think we'd cut Sorenson? His cap number next year is $4.7M, with $1M in dead money. Saving $3.7M is peanuts considering he's spent 6 years learning the chiefs system and is still an effective play maker. Creating another void at safety for that little in cap space doesn't make any sense at all.
He's a FA after next year. It's more realistic Veach lets his contract run out and he becomes a FA after the 2020 season.
