My concern is that they're going to spend most of the season on his travels to find the Mandalorians and/or Baby Yoda's people, without resolving the mystery behind Gideon and the Dark Saber.

If Gideon and the Darksaber becomes the series McGuffin, I will be very disappointed. The same type of thing would happen in The Clone Wars and Rebels in which they'd start out on an amazing quest but it would take the entire season to resolve, with several "filler" episodes that really didn't push the plot forward and only extended the series length.

With only 8 episodes per season, I didn't think that Lucasfilm would repeat that type of storytelling but it looks like I could be wrong.

I mainly just want more Gina Carano.
