The unit sucks, top to bottom. It's nothing new. It's been flatlining since Houston blew up his knee the first time. Nothing has been done to address it.
What we are seeing is the continuation of a completely consistent pattern of failure on that side of the ball. Everyone who created the turnovers the defense could once hide behind is either gone, or a shell of their former selves.
It takes an incredible amount of homerism and willful ignorance to think that this unit isn't exactly what it has been for years now.

It is kind of hard to have a pass rush when the refs let the other team BLATANTLY hold our guys for 2 weeks in a row. Then when Houston finally breaks free and makes a Huge play- they **** us out of it on a NFL bullshit call.
