They are not cutting Skyy Moore after just his 2nd season in the NFL, especially with him being a 2nd round pick. His cap hit is only $1.7 mil and he has a dead cap hit of just under a mil. They'd only save $800k if they released him.
The team obviously saw a ton of potential in the guy, because they drafted him in the 2nd round. He's only been in the league 2 years and his first year he got the Andy WR treatment. They're gonna give him an opportunity to see if he can improve, especially since Rice will be suspended, Worthy is a rookie, MVS is gone, Hardman is gone (maybe he comes back?). To begin the season we will only have 3 guys other than Moore with NFL experience (Brown, Watson, Toney) and only 2 of them have shown to be productive.
Skyy Moore isn't getting cut.
