Ben wasn't fat when he was 27. Father time catches us all. Either way similar body types as Mahomes. They are both husky guys. To believe that Mahomes will be slinging it like Brady when he's 43 is simply foolish. There is no reason to expect that. Mahomes has the higher ceiling and will be better than Brady ever was, but his shelf life is going to be shorter.

Mahomes is way too driven not to push himself to stay in shape into his 30s. Unless that personality trait somehow abandons him (and I can’t see that it would as long as he’s chasing Brady’s cumulated records), I’m not worried at all about that.
He’ll steadily lose his unreal scrambling ability over time but he will compensate for that with improvements in other areas (think LeBron becoming an elite 3PT and post option when he could no longer just barrel through 3 guys on every possession),
