It's the same BS argument Patriots fans have been making for years. They don't like it that Mahomes is a better QB than their beloved TB.
And everyone said the Chiefs would take a step back last year because they lost Tyreek. Many even suggested they would either be a wildcard or not even make the playoffs. Yet Mahomes willed that team to a SB victory on a bum ankle. That is the difference.
Also, Mahomes played well from the very get go. His first game ever came at the end of the 2017 season (his rookie year) at Denver. He was playing with a bunch of backups but looked great.
