yeah this is my main gripe with their fanbase so far. the history of soccer in STL is kinda cool, but you cannot take credit for things your brand new team had nothing to do with.
congratulations on that catholic boys school beating a team from the northeast in the 1890s or whenever the ****. they probably won it by having the fewest players with polio. everyone else really wishes they had accomplishments like this, and totally thinks it reflects on your current team that's 4 months old.
