Man, I just went back and read the posts from just before the Mahomes pick.
See, for years I didn't post here, but I always lurked.
Honestly, I'd gotten numb BECAUSE CHIEFS
I remember having CP open, reading your takes periodically, but also randomly surfing the 'net with the draft on in the background.
Hope had long since left me.
And holy shit, they did it.
THEY DID IT!
and here we are, in 2022, with the future HOF'er at QB about to start phase two of the Mahomes era
-and none of you wet blankets can kill my joy.
It is a glorious thing to be a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs in this time frame.
all the pain was worth it!
