There's nothing to misinterpret about the implication that after the Super Bowl loss, Reid gave full play calling duties to EB and it was signed off in his contract. You can say that Andy has veto power, but the theme of the entire story is that the offense being shitty is on EB, who is in charge and has taken over play calling. And if that's the case, the Chiefs front office is moronic. I ask again...what is the point of doing this? To give EB a chance to be a HC and build his resume? Why is that more important than winning games and getting championships? Andy has now allegedly gone from a head coach and GM in Philly, to a HC and OC insanely successful for the first 5-6 years in KC, to only the HC and not in charge of personnel or calling plays, which is his bread and butter? I don't get it. Or buy it.
