Eli and Rivers are considered HOF caliber when they enshrined Troy freaking Aikman. Just look at their basic stats:

Aikman: 165 games played between 1989-2000, 94-71, 2898 for 4715 61.5%, 32,942 yrds 165! TD, 141 Ints Per game: 199.6 yrd, 1.0 td, .09 int
Manning: 236 games played between 04-19, 117-117, 4895 for 8119 60.3%, 57,023 yrds 366 TD, 244 Ints per game: 241.6 yrd, 1.6 td, 1.0 int
Rivers: 244 games played between 04-20, 134-106, 5277 for 8134 64.9%, 63,440 yrds 421 TD, 209 Ints per game: 260.0 yrd, 1.7 td, 0.9 int

I know these basic stats don't tell you everything about a QB, but from my eyes, Rivers was more talented than either but Manning could pull some god damn magic out of his ass and Aikman was the most average quarterback that had all-time great talent all around him. Steve DeBerg could've won a super bowl with those Cowboy teams.

Manning shouldn't get in and neither should Philip Rivers.

The HOF should conduct audits every decade
