Not really. If they weren't good enough to win this round, they weren't beating Phoenix. Let alone winning the Finals. Playoffs only get tougher the deeper you go. If you can't win in the second round, you're not a legit contender. Especially when the other team was down their best player. Clearly Utah wasn't ready for the moment. They need some experienced winners on that team. They'll never draw big free agents because they play in Utah. Wouldn't hurt to get a more athletic big man and a backup PG.
Regarding injuries, they have their own with Conley and Mitchell. No telling how long before they aggravated their injuries had they advanced.
