I figured they'd have to rise above some bullshit in this series and still assume it'll be a frustrating dog fight the rest of the way..... but, it's hard not to think back to the Kings the season they steamrolled through the playoffs (I think they lost like 3 or 4 games on their way to winning the Cup), even though it's obviously too early in the series or the playoffs to compare the two.
All true, but the Avs bullet train seems to have clear tracks ahead, no wind, and a good engine. This appears to be their year.
