Right. Basically everything we've got on the subject tells us Windu legitimately won the fight by turning the Dark Side back on Palpatine.
There's no doubt that Palps was hamming it up once Anakin stepped on the scene, but Mace took it to him fair and square. He's one of the best duelists in the Jedi Order and the most equipped to take on Sith. Give the man his due.
