Mayfield might end up being Mahomes' arch-rival, which I think could turn out great for the league in terms of dramatic playoff match-ups, but I was really thinking about QBs/teams with a bit more experience, kind of a goalpost for Mahomes to reach for in the early part of his career. Kind of like how Jordan had Isaiah Thomas and the Pistons to overcome before becoming the GOAT.

I would easily take Mayfield over Watson. He reminds me a lot of Flutie except mostly normal height and better arm strength. A slippery guy who looks to throw first over running.
