It still all starts with stopping the run. Rex Ryan has been damn good with the Ravens and the Jets. He started a transition from the 4-3 to the 3-4, which is why he ultimately failed. His defense still works--look at the Ravens. He's a brilliant football mind and the attitude needed to back it up. He can adjust. He's the most successful defensive coach against NE and Tom Brady (during his prime even) that you will find.

This is not accurate at all. In his last 4 years in New York, he went 1-7 against Brady and his defense allowed an average of 28 points per game.
