My god they're just banged up. They're probably gonna have to play this Thursday game a little closet to the chest TBH. It's absolute horseshit that the game essentially will determine the 1 seed and HFA and it's played on a Thursday night.
No it won't.

Chiefs just need to win 2 of 3 to lock up the 1 seed and HFA. If they lose to the Chargers to fall into a tie then win in Seattle and vs Oakland, they win the 1 seed over the Chargers by virtue of divisional records; that loss to Denver really screwed the Chargers pooch because it was a divisional L.

Honestly, I hate the idea of just taking the L vs. the Chargers and setting yourself up for a must win at Seattle in a game they'll need to win to stay in the playoff hunt, but coming off the 'mini-bye' it may be better to just get some guys healthy this week if they're not ready at full tilt.

Winning 2 of the next 3 in any combination wins them the division and the 1 seed.
