To be fair i'd bet a lot of offenses are like that. That's part of why receivers take plays off. Because they know they're not involved. A lot of QB's are also 1-2 read QB's once the ball is snapped because of either pressure, lack of vision/awareness, processing, lack of talent or all of the above.

For all the stats the last guy put up- plays like Hill running wide open during the Steelers playoff game- cemented his departure. If the first option was not available- he would tuck and run or take a sack. It was very frustrating.
I continue to be impressed with Mahomes keeping his eyes downfield while he knows the defense is closing in. Even when it was Von Miller and Mahomes knew he was going to take a hit- he somehow threw a perfect strike. That is not something you can coach into a QB.
