Uhhh... no. Actually, not at all. The team sucked during Pioli. I'm glad I hated on them. This team underachieved with Alex. I'm glad I hated on them. Yes, it wasn't just Alex. I hated on plenty of Reid decisions. Dorsey decisions. I was there roasting Philip Gaines and Kendrick Lewis and Frank Zombo and Demetrius Harris and Mike McGlynn with the rest of them.
What is wrong with me simply saying, "I'm glad Alex Smith is gone, because our QB has the potential to be way better? Better QBs are a necessary risk teams need to take if they want to win Super Bowls." Why does everything have to be about THE TEAM!!!!
Yes, we ****ing get it. The team needs to play better. We know Reid is still here and he'll still pull a bunch of bullshit. Let's try to focus on one thing at a time, shall we? We tried it the other way where we replaced everything 2-3 times over except for the QB. We did that for MANY years. Decades, even. Now we're trying it this way. We'll have to build up the team around Mahomes. That will take time.
