I just don't see anyone likely to displace Garrett next season. And then in 19 he'll be a SR with 3 years as a starter with 2 new OLBs alongside him so I'd imagine Odom will want him out there for leadership and stability.
I suspect we'll just need to get used to his limitations and hope he gets smart enough to play through them like Scherer did. He's gonna be here a bit in all likelihood.
