This team was worn down after two consecutive postseasons, but they still had the gas for a final run. Put Dyson in CF, Cain in RF, Gordo in LF and Boni at DH with Davis as the closer, and this team is a lean, mean machine.
Ah well. Dayton's gambles are what got us 2014 and 2015, this year, the gambles went the other way.

It sucks that Karns got hurt. That trade looked pretty decent. Our 4th outfielder free agent for a 4 years control of starting pitching. It sucks that Soler got hurt in spring training and never got going. Trading a 31 year old free agent reliever for 4 years of control of pure power.
