Definitely harder to land on a ship. Similar to an aircraft carrier vs land: much smaller target area, that's also translating & rotating.

However, that was not what prevented it being good. Touchdown speed was ok, but a leg lockout didn't latch, so it tipped over after landing.

Interesting - it sounds like it wasn't the waves after all. Hopefully they can keep working out these little bugs.

On the plus side, they wouldn't have been able to actually reuse this one anyway since it was the old-style body (1.1) and wouldn't have been compatible with the full-thrust anyway.
