Mike Danna (high risk contact) placed on COVID list

Doesn’t have it yet that we know of but could... https://twitter.com/fieldyates/statu...036978692?s=21

The Chiefs placed DE Mike Danna on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. He was placed on the list as a result of being a high-risk close contact. - @FieldYates
Let’s hope this is the last of our COVID issues this season.

There's still time to make it back.

chiefzilla1501 01-06-2021 04:27 PM

Maybe I'm reading too much into this. But I'm wondering if the Chiefs are taking an extreme amount of caution not because of high risk, but to send a message to the players to not take any chances.

If he was the only guy deemed a high risk contact to the strength and conditioning coach, that’s really good I would say. Maybe not related but would make sense.

Does high risk contact have a quicker quarantine period?

Yes it does. He can play in the Divisional round as long as he tests negative.

Like 5 days of negative tests.

By chance the Chiefs might try to do a bubble with their guys (if it's even allowed by the CBA or at least voluntarily)?

Not saying they should. Just wondering if they would consider it to limit the potentional COVID close-contact?

Better now than next week.

I believe Anthony Hitchens was on high risk.

Thats why I think the timing is interesting. Feel like they're sending a message to their players to not do something stupid. Dannas case seems to be an extreme caution case.

That's assuming that they are going to blame the player for somehow contracting a highly contagious disease. I hope that's not the case, unless they know he was really being unsafe...whatever that means.

What? Do you think they just pick and choose who's a close contact and who's not? They wear contact tracing devices that tell them who has been with the coach and who hasn't.

Also, it could also be someone in Danna's household that had it...

You're reading more into this than there is to read into. They're not sending a player into quarantine to send a message LMAO
