The Mob won't like the Chiefs in Vegas...
Read this interesting article on the Chiefs win yesterday costing the sports books MILLIONS in that one kick. To say the majority of the money was on the Chiefs was and understatement...
https://www.espn.com/chalk/story/_/i...oss-bookmakers So my fear, being a Las Vegas native, is that when the Chiefs come to play the Felons in Las Vegas, the team should bring some extra security for our boys! The Mob does not like losing money!!! |

****ing dumb. If they don't like losing money just make the spread ridiculous. Dumb thread is dumb. |
Chiefs didn't even cover. This article says all the money was on the Chiefs, both moneyline and against the spread. So wouldn't those kind of offset?

They didn't cover the spread

Thankfully ButtKicker didn't get the memo.
The fix was in to start the game when Tyrod Taylor mysteriously "injured" himself during warm up, thus setting the stage to unveil their shiny new QB. Winchester was in on the fix, thus he got himself flagged for a false start to push the ball back further. Townsend tried to change the trajectory of the ball by placing a really sticky booger onto the grass before the ball was snapped. He was in on it too, and can be seen picking something up off the grass, squishing it and rolling it around on his fingers. Butker ruined the plan though. Expect him to come with with a serious injury during practice this week. Had everything gone as planned both the Raiders and Chargers would be sitting tied for 1st place, with a new Chargers QB, and two new stadiums to generate interest and put butts in the seats. OMG you sheeple are so stupid that i can't believe i have to explain the obvious to you. |
The mob still owns the sports books? I thought that had changed a long time ago.

Hell, we had the mob's attorney as the mayor and then elected his wife to replace him! |
Chiefs didn't come close to covering and nobody bets the money line.
Chiefs were -410. |

Betting the Raiders it is then. |
The Saints are so screwed tonight.

I was thinking similar things, yesterday...not necessarily physical retribution but in other ways. I dont think the Raiders being in Vegas has any bearing on that...
"The Chiefs didn't cover the spread in a 23-20 overtime win, but the victory still proved plenty costly for the bookmakers. William Hill U.S. sportsbooks, said the Chiefs coming from behind to beat the Chargers caused a swing against the house of "several seven figures." Vegas was banking on a different outcome...obviously. The refs did what they could...but Buttkicker made a record tying kick..three times. They did all they could to prevent KC from scoring at the end...if Mahomes wasn't an alien, Vegas would have cashed in. They had him in a 3rd and 20... There was something definitely off yesterday....everybody noticed it. Chiefs haven't been hit with one-sided, ticky-tack officiating in a while. Let's just say it wasn't supposed to play out like it did...I wonder if Reid "got a talking to"...he didn't seem in very good spirits today. This is the "good old boys club"...and it's a monopoly. You play by their rules... |
