Dip Dip Dip.....

Don't tip the grub driver less than a dollar. Your Salsa may end up extra tangy!

https://katv.com/news/offbeat/tennes...ery-02-27-2019

MARYVILLE, Tenn. — A Tennessee man was jailed on felony charges after appearing to dip his testicles into a container of salsa that a customer had ordered online.

The delivery driver allegedly recorded it and posted a video online, saying "This is what you get when you give an 89 cents tip for an almost 30-minute drive."

News outlets report that the passenger, 31-year-old Howard Matthew Webb, was arrested last week and charged with adulteration of food.

Dinner Delivered said the food service has fired the driver and forwarded information about her to authorities as well.

Webb remains behind bars pending a March 12 hearing.

Bet he wouldn't have done it if it was queso

Stewie 02-28-2019 04:38 PM

So, you're supposed tip before delivery? That's odd. I guess I don't get it.

Are we sure this wasn't a Spanish person ordering seltzer?

Probably by card on an app or over the phone

‘Adulteration of Food’

That’s new

SAUTO 02-28-2019 06:26 PM

I've worried about my local McDonald's adulterating my food ever since I slapped the **** out of a guy that works there about 6 months ago.

Yeah that was odd.

I'm guessing the customer tipped via CC online when the purchase was made.

I know you can do that when you order pizza, so i imagine that applies here.

Wonder what he did with The Guacamole Slices?

Yes. It’s odd to me tipping before service has been rendered.

What if the service sucked or your pizza was an hour late?

He probably just rounded up the change to an even dollar amount on his ticket. Then when dip dick delivered his food he gave him a 10$ spot cash so he doesnt have to claim it on his taxes, just the .89$ gets taxed. I can’t stand people that **** with food.

Anyone that’s ****ed waitresses their whole life knows they like cash over card... tax free baby

I would never tip before the service was rendered. But I also never do delivery. I can pick it up myself faster than they can deliver it.

frozenchief 02-28-2019 08:39 PM

Why is it a felony? And why is he in jail while charges are pending? Assuming he committed the alleged acts, that seems over-reach to me. If he'd put something in the food that could actually make the purchaser sick, such as blood infected with Hepatitis, I could see felony charges but just dipping his nuts in salsa? Seems a bit over the top.

Up here, servers have to claim all of their CC tips or 10% of their total sale, whichever is greater. So I put 10% on the CC and then leave extra cash.

GloryDayz 03-01-2019 07:03 AM

So, because the customer rounded up on the online bill when he paid, the delivery dude assumed that would be the only tip (instead of some cash after delivery) and dirty-dicked the salsa?

If so, what an asshole, throw his ass in jail!
