RIP to the Great Roy Clark
Dude was typecast as a rube on Beverly Hillbillies and Hee Haw, but he was a virtuoso guitar player, and could play literally anything with strings. Great, great talent. Passed at 85, and had a wonderful life.

Great player- RIP!

The man was brilliant! I remember he and Buck Owens going at it. Parents had it on the tele and I am glad now that I got to see it way back when..
|
I think I remember him on Hee Haw. Loved that show.

He was a bad ass guitar player . Damn good man

RIP sir.

dude was amazing. to be that proficient in so many instruments. ...it's depressing as a regular ol guitar player.

Yes, George - a virtuoso player, typecast as a country artist.
