Question about Eric Berry

So did he tear his ACL after the Stevie Johnson hit? If so why did they allow him to come back and try to play only for him to go down the next play?

The real question is does EB prefer shag carpet; or no carpet whatsoever.

Bugeater 07-04-2012 12:39 PM

I wonder if he porks fat chicks when no one is looking.

Ace Gunner 07-04-2012 12:39 PM

Good question.

One theory I recall was that the hit caused a stretch in the tissue and it snapped moments later. Not that it's true, but seems possible.

I have always thought that they didn't know what the **** they were doing, and that he had a partial tear and then made it worse and tore it completely on the next snap.

It's a hallmark of of teams wtih "Parcellsian virtues."

Cassel called him a pussy and told him to walk it off.

There is no way to know for certain that there is a tear without an MRI.

Some people have a higher level of pain tolerance than others, and it may not have felt that it was all that bad initially for Berry.

It wasn't until the night after I tore my ACL (in two different places) that I felt that there was anything wrong.

There are no questions about Eruk Burry.

Understand this or die by trident...

Eric Berry is a tough SOB and wanted to get back in it. I hope he can come back to 100% and not have to second guess anything. Then our defense will truly dominate.

BigMeatballDave 07-04-2012 12:47 PM

Is this a serious question?

Per usual, you post your usual tripe...

Well, examine the evidence.

Berry got hurt on one play.

They took him out and examined him.

He went back out and immediately got hurt even worse.

The school of thought our coaching staff comes from has always emphasized getting out on the field if you aren't seriously injured. They made the judgment call he could play on that knee.

It was pretty obvious he couldn't.

I think they ****ed up.

Wouldn't be the first time.

The medical staff should have been responsible enough to keep him on the sideline.

That is their job.
