The Lost World made roughly 55% of Jurassic Park and JP3 earned about half of TLW. TLW was so bad that most of the original audience stayed away from JP3, which was a much better film.

If word gets out that JW is a bad film outside of the VFX, its box office returns will not meet expectation.

I ****ing loved JP2.

And yeah, it didn't make as much money as JP. So what? It still tripled it's production budget and made another 400 mil overseas. ROFL

Anyway, back to JW: Apparently the ILM guys said this movie is going to do some impressive things in terms of dinosaurs in direct sunlight.

They always had to "hide" the CGI in rain and darkness before to make it look better.

I couldn't give a shit less about the money, 2 was a horrible movie. So bad, I literally cannot remember anything about it. Trash.

I hope so, I plan on seeing this on IMAX.

Unfortunately, I own it on DVD because it was originally issued as a set.

It's just flat out unwatchable. The final 20 minutes are beyond ridiculous.

This movie will make insane money over the span of a month or so, but I just have the feeling that this flick is going to suck hard. This is going to be SFX porn and not much else.

I keep watching the trailers, but just don't feel "drawn" to JW at all.
