Wow. Three more seasons. Three more years off of my life, watching other teams with franchise QBs win Superbowls. Gotta love being a Chiefs fan.

Trent wasn't a franchise quarterback in the sense that you couldn't put him on any team and any system and expect him to carry an offense like a Brady or Elway could.

But, if Green had ANY semblance of a defense with that Chiefs offense, he could easily win a SB.

And I have no confidence in Alex Smith at all. Without Harbaugh, he's nothing. Sad but true.

Geno Smith on the other hand would be great. Really hope they draft him.

i think he's already at least as good as trent green. Alex smith hater though are always gonna see him in a negative light. 104 passer rating. was on way of throwing 26 tds with 10 int and about to break comp pct record. Clutch playoff win. to me, better than trent green but at least as good
