Some decent games tonight especially the Thunder vs Timberwolves. I am kind of excited to see the new look Wolves.

Minnesota could be a playoff team this year.

Rubio!

Many people have put that label on him.

dirk digler 12-26-2011 07:43 PM

nice behind the back between 2 players legs pass by Love

okcchief 12-26-2011 07:45 PM

Glad to only be down 1. Shitty shot selection in the 1st quarter.

dirk digler 12-26-2011 07:59 PM

what a pass by Rubio

okcchief 12-26-2011 08:08 PM

I love seeing Perk in shape and able to run with us.

Minnesota is fun to watch. Their fans should be excited.

Buck 12-26-2011 08:22 PM

I'm watching the Spurs/Grizz game.

The officiating in this game is atrocious. It's not really a fun game to watch.

dirk digler 12-26-2011 08:25 PM

Is it too early to say the Mavs suck? the way they are looking right now they might not make the playoffs

dirk digler 12-26-2011 08:32 PM

this is embarrassing for the Mavs. Down 24 soon to be 26 in the first half. They don't even act like they are trying

okcchief 12-26-2011 08:42 PM

The Mavs definitely look like a different team. May have lost the fire. Plenty of time to turn it around but they look like they are celebrating from last year.

okcchief 12-26-2011 08:47 PM

I still hate JJ's Hobbit ass.

For some reason I thought they played each against each other in the big 12 but I see they were separated by 1 year

okcchief 12-26-2011 09:01 PM

Again, **** JJ. Flopping piece of shit.

dirk digler 12-26-2011 09:01 PM

what a ****ing pass by Rubio to Williams.

Does Aldrich suck so bad he can't even get a couple of minutes for OKC?

He's getting better. He played better in pre-season that Nazr. I would rather him get those minutes to be honest.

Dallas is stupid for letting JJ go. He is such a problem for other teams.

Buck 12-26-2011 09:19 PM

I really only care about the Spurs because of Kawhi Leonard.

He's playing great defense but he can't follow with layups. Hasn't made a shot all night except for one free throw....and as I type that he makes his first bucket.

dirk digler 12-26-2011 09:21 PM

that was a bullshit call

Buck 12-26-2011 09:21 PM

thanks. Cole was a good defender in college so I am kind of surprised he isn't getting some minutes. It is not like they ask their centers to score points

okcchief 12-26-2011 09:24 PM

Hey Russ. Wanna get KD the ****ing ball? Thanks!

Buck 12-26-2011 09:25 PM

dirk digler 12-26-2011 09:32 PM

How was that not a foul on Perkins?

okcchief 12-26-2011 09:38 PM

Good win against a young hungry team following a back to back.

Perk looks great.

If Brooks can't find a way to get KD the ball in the last 6 minutes of the game he needs to move the **** along. Our offensive execution at the end of games has to improve this year.

Russ, I love you but get your boy the ball. I'd rather see Harden taking jumpers at the end of the game.

RealSNR 12-26-2011 11:43 PM

Disappointing loss for the Wolves, but they gotta be happy. They played the Thunder tight and made them sweat pretty hard to get this win. If those few idiot turnovers by that dumbass Beasley didn't happen, we might have had overtime.

I was Rubio's biggest skeptic, but I watched him in preseason and knew he'd do well. He needs to take Luke ****ing Ridenour out of the starting lineup ASAP. Barea and Rubio on the court at the same time is pretty fun to watch.

I have no clue why they are starting Ridenour. I think the T-Wolves are a playoff team. They were a pretty tough matchup for OKC last year even though we swept them. You add Rubio, Williams and JJ ****FACE and they are a tough out. I think they could be a 6-8 seed in the West. If not, they'll be good in the coming years if they keep it together.

The thing is, I remember those TWolves teams when it was just Garnett and a bunch of other guys. They had guys like Chauncy Billups, who was a ****ing bitch and not at all a good player at the time. Then they had Anthony Peeler, Gary Trent, Joe Smith, and Rasho Nesterovic at STARTING center. Wally Sczerbiak was the best player on the team not named Kevin Garnett. It was really ugly, but Flip Saunders had them playing good basketball.

This (should be) starting lineup with Rubio, Barea, Williams, Love, and Darko is FAR more talented from top to bottom. Only difference is Kevin Garnett vs Kevin Love. Hell, even Wes Johnson off the bench is far better quality than anything those old teams had. Adelman's the kind of coach that can get these guys working together to play good basketball. That's what they've been missing from Kurt Rambis all these years.

okcchief 12-27-2011 01:16 AM

Adelman is the reason they will be a playoff team. They have the talent and the guy doesn't lose. I see them being like the Thunder 2 years ago or Grizzlies last year. They may be the last seed but whoever draws them is going to have their hands full.

Al Bundy 12-27-2011 03:47 AM

Golden State put the clamp down on Rose tonight. I think 4-17 shooting.

I know it's only 2 games in, but I was thinking the same thing watching this game.

You guys are the odds on favorite, that's for sure.

Maybe OKC can knock you off, but I think that's about it.

Repost. Already heard it from the analysts on Sunday at half-time of their first game

okcchief 12-27-2011 09:09 PM

You are basing your title on beating Dallas who obviously doesn't have their shit together and a Boston team without Pierce. I agree Miami is the favorite but your statement is idiotic. There are teams that can hang.

ChiefsCountry 12-27-2011 10:01 PM

Norris Cole might be the best upgrade the Heat did. Its great to get a young guy and all the other trash out.

Is there a good reason to think LeBron won't choke in the NBA Finals again?

Miami may be the best team in the NBA (and I think they certainly are), but it doesn't mean a damn thing if they can't perform at the end.

What a steal N. Cole was.

And I only saw the highlights of last game but Ricky Rubio can pass the rock! Wow I didn't see him panning out

CoMoChief 12-28-2011 12:04 AM

Lol..just had a Quin Snyder sighting on the Lakers bench.

Buck 12-28-2011 08:10 PM

Bobcats hanging tough with the Heat.

Its' 82-80 Miami with 5 min left in the 4th.

Buck 12-28-2011 08:12 PM

The second half for the Warriors was awesome last night. Brandon Rush had a very good second half.

okcchief 12-29-2011 02:34 PM

Jackson has the Warriors playing D. We'll see if it lasts. I'm just glad I don't have to hear his commentary anymore :)
